Just like TV, the Web has commercials too... sometimes referred to as online promotions or advertisements. Profile: Guitar Instruction Software
Goal: SuperChords is interactive guitar instruction software for beginners. This web commercial was used to promote the product, marketing to beginner guitarists and especially girl guitarists. The idea was to make it look fun and easy.

Goal: Just as you see on TV, the same product has more than one commercial and this was done with SuperChords. It needed to appeal to a different type of guitarist... still beginners, but mostly guys and those who want to learn guitar so they can rock out! This same ad also promotes the creator of the product, Jim Lee.

Profile: Alphabet Software for Kids
Goal: Animal ABCs is interactive software that teaches kids the alphabet. The online promotion for Animal ABCs needed to appeal to the kids but mostly to the parents. A catchy tune is used to give the product a unique identity... one that parents will remember and one that kids will eventually sing along too.
